The Medinah Oriental Band was the first oriental band in Shrinedom. Formed shortly after the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair, the Oriental Band recalls the exotic Turkish music heard at the fair. They participate in the ceremonials as well as parading. No musical experience necessary to join this unit!
